| Marquis... I have been meaning for some time to write you a more formal thank you. We just got our pictures and video back from Njaal, and we were reminded again about how fortunate we were to have found you. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of a good entertainment coordinator for the wedding reception. You certainly are more than just a D.J...because you did so much more than spin music...you truly did perpetuate the joy of the whole event. Some of our guests had never been to a dry reception before and were quite apprehensive about the fun that could be had without a bar. Boy, were their fears unfounded! The music was very well chosen...the activities were well introduced...and everything kept flowing smoothly until the very end!
You read the guests well - and their desires. From my rather conservative 55-year-old brother from Kansas who asked me, "Where in the heck did you find this guy?! He's not a DJ. He's an entertainer!" to our more liberal 20-year-old friend who goes to Syracuse University and at the evening's conclusion was overheard enthusiastically asking her father if he could please tip the DJ for her, because this is the best she had EVER heard! You gave all of us an evening to remember. If anyone has any doubts about priorities for their wedding, please sell them on the importance of entertainment for the reception. It truly is one of the MOST important and memorable parts of the entire event. We really appreciate the professional manner in which you conducted yourself and your business. The love you have for this career is quite evident. |

From the moment our son and his bride began planning their wedding, until the last dance at the reception, your level of professionalism has been FABULOUS! We had no worries and LOTS of fun! The activities you coordinated encouraged participation and had all of our guests roaring with laughter. We will carry the memories with us for a life time. (Usually it is the wedding that is the most memorable, but in this case it will be the reception!) It was absolutely the most enjoyable wedding reception I have ever attended. Your humor and games were very appropriate for all ages, and the music made such an impression. Already our family members stop when we hear the song you played as requested for Jason & Erika, even when we are at the mall. Thank you for making this important event such a success for our son and new daughter. With six more children in our family and the referrals I look forward to making for I Do Music, we wish you continuing success! |

| Dear Marquis: I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how much Tommy and I appreciated the work you did as the DJ for our wedding. From our first dance as a couple through the farewell song, we had a blast! I was so amazed at how you single-handedly bridged the generation gap of our wedding guests. I truly believe that my grandparents had as much fun at the reception as did our littlest flower girl! There was so much interaction between all of the guests at the reception that I did not feel like I had to entertain anyone nor check on people to make sure they were having a good time.
I will say without a doubt that all of the people that I have heard from since our big day have said, "That is the best wedding reception I have ever been to!" You promised me in the planning stages that I would hear that statement and you were right, I have heard that over and over, in fact, I am still hearing it today!! I also appreciated the way that you worked with our photographer to coordinate the standard wedding shots. Our photographer was with us for a limited time and you really did a great job ensuring the transition between our first dance, cutting the cake, father/daughter dance, and the garter/bouquet toss without making it seem like we were all on a schedule. Thank you again for making our dreams come true on our most special day. You not only made us feel special but you made all of our guests feel special too and that meant everything to Tom and I. |
